Community Projects are very important to the American Sewing Guild (ASG). Our Dayton ASG Chapter would like to share those results with you.

We provide items to the following:

Beavercreek Baptist Church – Wee Warren Bears. The bears are shipped to other countries for Christmas presents for young children.  Check out pattern/page here: Wee Warren Bears

Blue Star Mothers of America Inc. – Christmas Stockings.  Blue Star Mothers of America Inc. are all kinds of mothers who have children serving in the military, guard, or reserves, or children who are veterans.  The stockings are filled with goodies and shipped to our military who are deployed.  Check out our pattern/page here: Blue Star Mothers of America 

Dayton Hospice – Hand and Neck Pillows.  These Pillows are helpful items for Hospice patients.  Check out our pattern/page here: Dayton Hospice

Acts of Kindness – Baby items for parents who need support for their newborn child. This was a one-time event that our chapter did. Each member who participated used their own pattern.

Kiddie Kaps – Hats and Gloves given to WDTN Channel 2 Kids Project.

Face Masks – this was a National Community Project for ASG during Covid.  Face Masks were distributed to various places during the Pandemic.
